About Akash Thomas
AHUA is the brainchild of Akash Stephen Thomas, a visionary fashion lover who identified a gap in the market for retailers offering premium products with exceptional service. Akash began his journey during the COVID-19 pandemic, building a strong reputation within Australian social media groups and establishing long-lasting relationships with consignors, sellers, and buyers. With three years of experience and a keen understanding of the industry, Akash aims to expand AHUA's reach while nurturing meaningful connections with our community.
Ryan’s Role
Ryan Newbond joined AHUA to help bring this vision to life. He began his reselling journey in 2017 on platforms like Underground Society. In 2018, he founded WCW, creating a space for enthusiasts and sellers to auction and raffle off limited-release items. With a thriving community of over 25,000 members, Ryan's passion for fair and transparent commerce continues at AHUA.
Now, as a real estate agent and auctioneer based in Melbourne's south-east, he focuses on ensuring that consignors have a platform they can trust. He also ensures that buyers can shop confidently, knowing every item is genuine and fairly priced. Together, Akash and Ryan are redefining what it means to shop for premium fashion online.
